FIESTALORICO is a daylong event showcasing dance groups, musical groups, and other performing arts groups from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and beyond.  The event will conclude with an evening performance by BFA’s Company professional dancers for a spectacular finish to this event.   School groups, church groups, community groups are all welcome to perform during the day time with no charge/expense to their group.  Our goal is to highlight the many cultural talents in our area during Hispanic Heritage Month.

In past years, Fiestalorico has been host to over 400 performers and maintained a full auditorium throughout the day.  St. Edwards University from Austin, Ballet Folklorico de Dallas, Folklorico de Guadalupe of Snyder, Texas, Alegre dance group from Dallas and several local dance groups are just an example of the variety represented at Fiestalorico.  The evening “gala performance” featuring BFA’s Company dancers was reviewed by the Fort Worth Star Telegram’s arts critic and received a rating of “A” for a “well-polished, well taught dancing” performance.
