Richard Hinojosa

It is with great sadness that BFA says goodbye to a great dancer and a wonderful friend.

Richard Hinojosa passed from this world on Monday, April 14, 2008. With a welcoming smile and

love of dance Richard made folklorico look easy. He danced with BFA for 10 years as a member of

Company. As a teacher at H.V. Helbing Elementary School, Richard started a folklorico group

for the students. He wrote grants for funding in order to purchase shoes and costumes.

Richard will be greatly missed not only as a dancer but as a friend. He was always

ready to support his fellow dancers, willing to go the extra step to make things work

and dedicated to his friends. No one could ask for a better blessing in their lives.
